El Maguey - Chesterfield

You've probably heard us criticize St. Louis for not having a lot of great Mexican food restaurants. I (Jana) have tried several "store front" restaurants, but most of them are not authentic and do not make me want to come back. In fact, I can't even remember the names of them to tell you "not" to go there. :p

El Maguey in Chesterfield is very good and very close to the kind of Mexican cuisine Texans love. (See what Californians indulge in!) Ok, we aren't in Texas or California, so what we've found so far is a few places that will do for now. Check back soon to see if we've made any more Mexican food discoveries! (We won't give up on St. Louis just yet!)
