jj twigs pub & grill

JJ Twigs is a family owned franchised that started in Chicago. They have 3 locations in the St. Louis are and the one we tried was in Valley Park.

The pizza is St. Louis style in that it's original pizza has a super thin crust, however they use mozzerella cheese rather than provel. For those that do like more crust and a thicker pizza, they have double decker pizza. According to our waiter the double decker is the preferred choice with their customers.

While the pizza is good, and the service was excellent, the prices were a little high. We paid over $16 for a medium thin crust specialty pizza. By the time we had an appetizer, a soda, the pizza, and the tip, we walked out of there paying over $30 for 2 people.
